We have a twofer of Endeavor Miami news announcements for you.

Endeavor Miami, an affiliate of the global Endeavor organization supporting high-impact entrepreneurship, announced the finalists for its Pitch Competition for Black Entrepreneurs as well as the 10 participating entrepreneurs for the fourth cohort of its accelerated growth program, EndeavorLAB, which is for women-led startups.

The Pitch Competition, in partnership with The City of Miami, Miami Herald and Microsoft, will be held virtually on Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. Anyone is welcome to attend and can RSVP here.

Three winners will be selected and receive non-dilutive cash prizes of $25K (1st place), $15K (2nd place) and $10K (3rd place), as well as access to Microsoft for Startups program, including $25K in Azure credits and technical consulting sessions.  “Providing entrepreneurs that are typically over-mentored and under-capitalized with opportunities to earn capital, gain more exposure, and scaleup, is invaluable for economic growth in the local community,”  said Claudia Duran, Managing Director of Endeavor Miami.

Here are the 10 Endeavor Pitch Competition finalists (descriptions provided by Endeavor):

BeLoved Box: Danie Spikes, Founder & CEO. BeLoved Box is a Miami based consumer packaged goods company that promotes intentional living and wellness through fragrance and products.

Best Candidate: Gino Herring, Founder & CEO. The first and only Election Candidate Search Engine, and Campaign Media Management system. This mobile application is developed to promote successful Candidate search and provide a centralized location for voters to get information and updates straight from the candidates themselves.

Bootup: Chandler Malone, Founder & CEO. Bootup helps close the tech talent shortage by helping bootcamps and vocational training programs increase enrollment while improving candidate placement rates.

BRIDGE Networks: Adrienne C. McWilliams, Co-Founder & CEO; Brandon Braswell, Co-Founder & CPO. BRIDGE Networks is a local streaming service that broadcasts businesses, events & information available in your city. It’s a video platform that allows you to see what’s happening in your city.

FanFest: Adam Jones, Co-Founder, CEO & CTO; Robert Gordon, Co-Founder & CMO. FanFest is a platform the biggest names in entertainment use to host sponsored live shows from their website and invite any fan into the show instantly, sell anything during the show (e.g., physical merchandise, digital NFTs), and stream the show anywhere (e.g., social media, TV).

Grownextdoor: Jonathan Cox, Co-Founder & CEO; Vianny Guillen, Co-Founder & CEO. Grownextdoor is a distributed network of urban farms. Their mission is to create a platform for people to work with the planet to bring fresh food accessibility to local community members and small businesses.

Jump Start Tutoring: Chrissybil Boulin, Founder & CEO. A Florida-based, award-winning, educational company that makes learning easy. Founded in late 2018, Jump Start Learning partners with over twenty local schools, NGO’s and libraries to support learning and have helped over 2,500 students across Florida.

Lien Library: Mac Alabre, Founder & CEO; Rohansen Joseph, COO; Eduardo Mejia, CIO; Sondley Northecide, CTO. First online platform that empower cities to digitally manage and process property lien report and payment faster.

lifecache: Khambrel Roach, Founder & CEO; Sean Fenton, Co-Founder & COO. At lifecache, they are focused on unlocking the potential of 360-degree content by enabling users to consume immersive 360-degree content in a location-based Augmented Reality experience. Companies and creators alike have been looking into 360 video to find innovative ways to market their content online and lifecache’s goal is to be the ultimate platform to capture, manage and share 360-degree content in an interactive experience.

PipeOne.me: Marcio Cantelli, Co-Founder & CEO; Josiano Carvalho, Co-Founder & CTO. Customer Service CRM for the messaging era. Different channels in one platform for seamless communication with your contacts via WhatsApp, SMS, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, web chat and QR code.

EndeavorLAB Cohort 4

EndeavorLAB is Endeavor MIami’s two-month accelerator program, and Cohort 4 brings together female founders. The EndeavorLAB program seeks to support early-stage companies based in Miami with a market-tested business model and to accelerate their growth through access to seasoned mentors, workshops and exclusive content.

The City of Miami as a partner is providing full scholarships to all participants.

Here are the EndeavorLAB Cohort Four participants (descriptions provided by Endeavor): 

  • Champion Lender Inc.: A mortgage brokerage dedicated to removing the barriers to home ownership for minority communities. The company is led by Founder and CEO Viola J. Carmona. 
  • Glamo: A beauty on demand marketplace platform that provides clients with stylists in the comfort of their home. The company is led by Founder and CEO Rishielle Giscombe. 
  • SaniGirl: A brand committed to female health and empowerment. Their products for women and girls revolutionize the use of the bathroom away from home. The company is led by CEO Susan Thompson and operates under InnoBrands International LLC. 
  • Mo’s Bundt Cakes: A bundt cake-centric bakery delivering a selection of golden cakes draped with rich flavors such as Nutella, Dulce de Leche, Guava and their signature Cinnamon cake to Miami and beyond. Customers can choose from an assortment of sizes, flavors, and presentations––all packaged to maintain optimal freshness. The company is led by Founder, Mariolga Calderon and Co-Founder, Regina Lacayo.
  • Sebiya.io Inc.: An all-in-one Guest Experience System designed to empower Vacation Rental Companies with the technology needed to provide full-service travel experiences for their guests’ digitally. The company is led by Co-Founders, Samella Watson and Marco Gastello. 
  • PHLOX: Your perfect companion in your digital transformation. Phlox provides the tools one needs to empower day-to-day operations, turning data into business knowledge. The company is led by Co-Founders, Maria Laura Francetich and Juan Jose Portela Zardetto. 
  • The Lab Girl & Co: The Lab Girl & Co is taking over the hair care market by changing the way people feel about hair, introducing new steps into the hair care routine and redefining conventional Hair Products. They specialize in Hair Restoration with a Fun Twist – products are functional, vegan, science based, cruelty free and innovative. The company is led by CEO, Valentina Gomez, COO, Isabella Rodriguez and Co-Founder, Monica Fonseca. They operate under Two Soul Friends LLC. 
  • Vital Tonics: A wellness company that provides relief for frustrated individuals experiencing symptoms such as pain, anxiety, and insomnia by offering alternative solutions in the form of cannabinoid infused products. The company is led by Founder, Natalie Bustamante. 
  • Vivid Reality: A revolutionary company that archives real world assets and converts them into 3D NFTs. The company is led by Co-Founders, Vincenza Sorrentino and Francisco Balsells. 
  • Voi Logistics: The company supports the global shift to sustainable transportation which includes automated ticket and toll resolution. The company is led by Co-Founders, Megan Broccoli and Gabriel Martinez.
