Does being an entrepreneur make you a more successful angel investor?
Join us for a workshop with Aaron Hirschhorn on his best practices for angel investing as a successful serial entrepreneur himself.
Aaron will talk about what he’s learned through his successful angel investments which include Dollar Shave Club ($1b sale to Unilever), Sooth Massage, and Calm meditation app, as well as his failures and learnings from being in the driver’s seat as a founder.
Most recently Aaron was the Founder and CEO of DogVacay, an international consumer marketplace for pet services. Since it’s founding in 2012 DogVacay raised $47m from investors including Benchmark Capital and Andreessen Horowitz, and generated over $100m in revenue. The company exited to Rover in April 2017.
Today, Aaron is a Partner at Bold Capital, an angel investor, and is working on his next venture.
While focused on investors, we invite entrepreneurs to also attend to hear the investor perspective.
