Go became a public open source project on November 10th, 2009 and in less than a month becomes 5 years old. The language is quickly becoming an important part of the internet infrastructure we all take for granted. It is being used today by large and small companies to develop both products and services. Maybe the most well known technology to date is Docker from dotCloud. If you are developing backend services, infrastructure, API’s or asynchronous processes, Go is a language designed from the ground up to meet your needs.
In this 2 hour training workshop, you will learn the basics of the Go language and then review a web application that performs concurrent web searches against the Bing, Bleeko and Google search engines.
