Ed Sim is the founder and General Partner of Boldstart Ventures, specializing in early-stage investments in enterprise technology startups. Ed has led investments in companies such as Clay, Snyk, BigID, Blockdaemon, Protect AI, and Tessl. Before Boldstart, Ed co-founded Dawntreader Ventures, leading early investments in Greenplum, GoToMeeting, and LivePerson. He began his career at J.P. Morgan, developing quantitative trading models.

Adam has leadership experience at all levels of the Venture Capital ecosystem: engineer, Founder, CEO, GP, and LP. Adam was a developer at Oracle, early on the Monetization team at Facebook, founded an AI company that he sold to Headspace, was backed by Sequoia Capital, invested in the A rounds of companies that went public at Menlo Ventures and Bain Capital Ventures, and managed the Venture book at Emory’s endowment.
