PhilanthropyMiami Academy: Fundraising Fundamentals Fall 2020

We’re proud to offer Fundraising Fundamentals, a 16-hour, immersive experience into the basics of the development profession. It’s the perfect resource for those new to the professional, or experienced leaders who want the extra training. Through pre-readings, interactive discussions, group activities, and engagements with some of Miami’s most experienced professionals, students will be introduced to: Donor motivations; Qualities of a successful development professional; Ethics; Storytelling and creating a case for support; Stewardship and donor relations; Annual giving; Middle donors and more!

Classes begin Tuesday, September 29, 2020 and continue through November 17, 2020 (no class on Election Day), October 6, 2020 class will be 3 hours. All classes are taught via Zoom.
