Starting a series of actions aimed at promoting the startup ecosystem internationally, Sebrae-SP will be present with 14 startups in Miami from April 16 to 23. The program includes technical visits, community meetings, pitches to potential partners and participation in eMerge Americas and Miami Tech Week events.
“It will be the first of many missions aimed at startups. The program is part of Sebrae’s strategy to promote the commercialization and growth of São Paulo technologies. After the trip, these startups will be monitored and will be able to follow other internal programs aimed at seeking investors and sales”, says the superintendent director of Sebrae-SP, Wilson Poit.
The Miami for Startups program aims to increase the degree of internationalization of São Paulo startups and promote long-term connections with other ecosystems. To this end, on April 20, Sebrae for Startups will promote the Brazil Tech Night event: the 1st Meeting of the Brazilian Innovation and Startups Community in Miami. The meeting will be co-hosted by Nelson Mullins, a notable law firm focused on bringing innovative solutions to innovative businesses, supporting startups to go through the internationalization process without too many obstacles.
The purpose of the meeting is to talk about the opportunities in the Miami innovation ecosystem for Brazilian startups, in addition to carrying out the pre-launch of Sebrae for Startups in the international market. All this without losing focus: promoting many connections!
“Sebrae plays an important role in generating business. The Miami for Startups proposal is precisely to put startups in direct contact with partners, investors and the entire ecosystem, creating relevant connections, in addition to getting to know the main innovations presented at the events”, highlights Michel Porcino, responsible for Sebrae for Startups.
In a light and relaxed atmosphere at the forefront of innovation, the startup community will meet at The Lab Miami, in Wynwood, with the presence of people who dream and make it happen, the protagonists of the movement that should make Miami the next Top Tech Hub in the country.
It is worth noting that the event will be exclusive to guests with relevant participation in Miami’s innovation and startup ecosystem.
