The Bridge: Tech & Gender Equity

While Miami has made significant progress in becoming a thriving tech hub, there is one crucial area that still requires attention: the representation of women in the industry. Recent data shows that only 23% of tech professionals in Miami are women, highlighting the urgent need to uplift and address the role of women in the city’s tech scene.

In an effort to bridge this gap, we’ve partnered up with the Women’s Fund for the launch of their groundbreaking project, the Gender Equity Index. This index, which has been in the works for three years, will provide crucial data that can drive real change and create a more equal society for women and girls in Miami-Dade County.

At Venture Café Miami, we are honored to share this index with our diverse network of industry leaders, empowering them to take action and promote gender equality in the tech ecosystem & beyond.
