Google is the world’s largest online advertising platform, and it has started the Google Digital Coaches program to help minorities and underrepresented communities. Learn about the #AccelerateWithGoogle campaign from one of its front-line promoters. Miami-based Vicente Pimienta is one of only eight Google Digital Coaches nationwide. He will share an inside look into how Google is trying to empower small business owners, particularly minority- and women-owned enterprises, to use Google advertising to grow their businesses. He’ll talk about lessons learned after training hundreds of small businesses in South Florida over the past 18 months. And he’ll share insights into the future of digital advertising, from the use of artificial intelligence to new products on the horizon. The event will feature case studies from small businesses using digital advertising to grow their businesses, including a Miami dance studio spotlighted by Google in a bilingual national ad campaign.

Vicente Pimienta is one of just eight inaugural Google Digital Coaches nationwide, part of a Google initiative to breach the digital divide of the minorities and underrepresented communities. Vicente has trained hundreds of small business owners across South Florida in Google services such as Google AdWords and Google My Businesses. Vicente has more than 20 years of experience in the digital word and in the media industry. He’s the founder and CEO of Digisults, a Miami-based agency that provides Internet services, digital marketing, multimedia products, consulting, and workshops.
