  • At Coco we believe in the Latino entrepreneur and think that with the right tools, Latino business owners can reach new heights – Our goal is to help close the $1.5 trillion opportunity gap separating Latino and White entrepreneurs.  Right now, Latino business owners are 60% less likely than white entrepreneurs to get a loan approved from a national bank, even when you control for performance. Coco is on a mission to change that through simple, effective and intuitive business management software that is purpose-built for Latinos in the U.S.  Coco is a fast-growing start-up that raised a $12.5m seed round from Walkabout Ventures, Benchstrength Capital and Detroit Venture Partners.  We were founded by a Latina entrepreneur who is on her second fintech business serving US Hispanic entrepreneurs. Our HQ is split between New York and Miami, but we have employees in Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela and Pakistan. 

The Role

  • As our Head of Sales, you will be responsible for working with the founder to develop and fine tune Coco’s sales strategy and narrative. You will have the autonomy and support to create and execute unique and creative strategies.


  • Co-develop sales strategy and narrative, develop unexpected sales techniques (we want to be flexible and creative when we can).
  • Recruit, hire and train sales team.
  • Analyze and evaluate sales strategies and performance, identify opportunities for improvement and implement them. 
  • Provide mentorship and feedback to sales team, work with founder to assess performance. 
    Develop target customer lists for junior sales team and work with Community Manager to close larger corporate partners and channel partners.


  • Fluency in Spanish and strong understanding of Latino culture. 
  • 5 years of experience in sales, particularly to Hispanic markets.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience developing sales strategies and analyzing the performance of various strategies.
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems and experience monitoring costs of various strategies.
