We’re looking for a talented B2C marketing executive with a passion for collectibles and NFTs to join our fully remote team as we ramp up for our signature and Mattel partner series launches this summer and beyond.

What we’re looking for:

You have strong project management and organizational skills as you manage comprehensive strategies and tactics for in-house signature and Mattel partner lines of business.  You also have a strong social media background creating and executing launch campaigns and continuously engaging with and expanding the community base.

This role will be part of a growing marketing organization, reporting to the CMO and working closely with internal Community, Creative/Art and Product teams and external Partner (Mattel and more to be announced) teams.  Our fast-paced environment requires agility, an entrepreneur’s mentality and the ability to manage multiple things at once.  DTC start-up experience is a plus.

Specific job duties will Include but are not limited to:

  • Leading internal and external marketing efforts (owned, earned and shared) on behalf of Cryptoys and in support of Mattel and future partners
  • Determining how Marketing will contribute to company goals, including participating in the ICP (Integrated Communications Plan) process with strategies and tactics
  • Developing campaign-specific and quarterly marketing/social media plans (owned, earned and shared); setting goals, establishing measurement process, determining creative development process and reporting on all the above
  • Working with internal teams and external PR and Creative agencies on day-to-day efforts as well as long term strategy, pitch planning, budgets, etc.
  • Managing, supporting and promoting industry events, consumer events, speaking engagements, award submissions, etc.
  • Creating social media toolkits shared with employees, partners, investors and friends of Cryptoys to promote and amplify key launches and news breaks
  • Developing KPIs to measure effectiveness of the Marketing strategy and tactics
  • Working closely with CMO on day-to-day needs

Needed Skills/Experience

  • 8+ years of progressively responsible, successful, and balanced experience and leadership at a digital-native consumer brand business or social media agency
  • Experience working with start-up senior executives and ability to provide counsel directly to co-founders
  • Experience managing social media and creative portions of integrated marketing campaigns in partnership with others
  • Ability to think strategically both for short and long term to develop actionable and well- defined marketing plans
  • Track record of successful project and budget management
  • Experience working with external companies (consumer-facing brands) to build campaigns and/or projects
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a track record of building trust through a virtual work environment
  • Quick learner with a creative and curious mind who thrives in a start-up environment and excited to help shape the future of the company and NFT industry

Bonus if you have:

  • Early-stage DTC start-up experience
  • Passion for collecting NFTs or physical goods (action figures, sneakers, etc.)
