WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Defining and leading digital transformations at a strategic level
  • Working with clients to determine where they need to go and how to get there
  • Shadow / work closely with the Product Managers of internal projects
  • Working with clients as they are immersed with our teams using agile XP with lean methodologies
  • Work closely with the CEO to manage and invest the VC fund
  • Assess market/company attractiveness and identify compelling businesses
  • Preparing market analyses and presentations to drive investment decisions

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6-8 months of experience as a product manager and previous consultative experience in client facing roles.
  • 1-2 years of Venture Capital experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; a graduate degree in a relevant field is an asset.
  • Proficiency with at least one agile methodology – e.g. XP and/or Scrum.
  • Investment banking or investment fund experience.
  • Proficiency in financial concepts.
  • Open to new tools and methodologies, yet opinionated about best practices.
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An eagerness and love for learning.
  • Enthusiastic work ethic and an outgoing attitude.

  • An MBA would be an asset.
  • Worked on an XP team and can sing its praises.
  • Applied knowledge of user testing and validation techniques.
  • Early adopter of new technology and gadgets.

  • Have read the following books: The Lean Startup (Eric Ries), Sprint (Jake Knapp), and The Innovator’s Dilemma (Clayton M. Christensen).
