18 South Florida startups to present at upcoming Florida Venture Capital Conference and they are …

Florida Venture Forum, Florida’s largest statewide support organization for investors and entrepreneurs, today announced 49 companies were selected to present at its 2025 Florida Venture Capital Conference that will be held March 3 – March 5 in Coral Gables. 

Florida Venture Forum President and CEO Kevin Burgoyne said the 49 make up a record number of presenting companies “that represent the best and brightest venture-ready innovators from Florida, and beyond.” Of those 49, 18 are from South Florida, from Miami-Dade through Palm Beach County.

Ben Patz, Managing Partner at DeepWork Capital and Florida Venture Forum Selection Chair, said the Forum selected companies from the growth, early and seed stages. “We received impressive applicants from around the world, but consistent with prior years, we have focused on leading companies in the southeast US.” 

Since 1984 over 2,000 companies have presented at Forum events and have gone on to raise more than $30 billion in equity capital over the years.

Here are the companies from South Florida that were selected to present at the upcoming venture capital conference and the tracks they will present in  (descriptions provided by Florida Venture Forum):

Beeyond Media, Miami: The companyis a Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising Demand-Side Platform (DSP). It specializes in helping brands run targeted, data-driven advertising campaigns on digital billboards, screens, and other outdoor digital displays. Beeyond offers extensive coverage, with 1.5 million devices connected across the U.S. and 25 international markets. This company is presenting during the Growth Stage Track.  

BeyondSight, Miami: The startup aims to revolutionize the world for the 330 million blind individuals globally. Made possible by their patent pending technology and spatial processing algorithms, they are able to take on the broken assistive technology market in a way that has never been done before. Technology in this market has a reputation of being costly prohibitive and requiring year-long wait times for the end user to get their hands on the products they need. This company is presenting during the Seed Stage Track.  

Detect Technologies, Miami: The company is an AI-driven platform revolutionizing energy infrastructure inspections (namely Transmission and Distribution). Leveraging advanced imaging from truck-mounted cameras, iPhones, drones, and alternative data sources like weather patterns, their proprietary software provides utilities with unparalleled insights into asset health. This company is presenting during the Early Stage Track.  

DNALabs, Boca Raton: The company’s mission is to revolutionize healthcare through advanced genetic testing solutions. With a B2B business model, they partner with world class hospitals, healthcare providers, pharmacies, benefit administrators and employers, and research institutions to deliver cutting-edge genetic insights that optimize patient care and treatment outcomes. This company is presenting during the Seed Stage Track. 

HelixVM, Boca Raton: The company has developed a revolutionary, patent-pending, medical platform that leverages AI to deliver fast and seamless virtual health care for patients and providers. HelixVM patients receive same-day treatment without needing a video visit, from their phone, while using insurance. This company is presenting in the Growth Stage Track.  

Kind Designs Miami: The company is 3D-Printing Living Seawalls. They’re structurally identical to traditional concrete seawalls, but also function like artificial reefs and mitigate wave impact. There’s no “green premium” – Living Seawalls are cheaper than traditional, toxic seawalls. This company is presenting during the Early Stage Track.  

Lamatic, Fort Lauderdale: The companyis an end-to-end GenAI tech stack offered as a PaaS subscription to product teams. It features a managed backend that provides drag-and-drop connectivity to data sources, models, tools and frontend applications. It offers a permissions-based UI that streamlines and accelerates the tech / non-tech collaboration required to deploy and manage production-grade GenAI-powered applications. These patients are 6-10% of the population and account for over 30% of healthcare spend. This company is presenting during the Early Stage Track.  

Okeanos, Miami Beach:The company is an advanced materials company formed specifically to immediately reduce plastic and its CO2 impacts. It has developed formulas for compounds (a pelletized combination of polymer and calcium carbonate) branded as Made From Stone (MFS). It is the first technology to measurably reduce the amount of virgin plastic in packaging and everyday items at the source by as much as 67%, while also reducing the subsequent CO2 emissions associated with making these products. This company is presenting during the Growth Stage Track.  

Prescient AI, Miami: The companyis a Marketing Optimization Platform powered by an industry-leading Media Mix Model (MMM) to help marketing and finance teams plan and deploy sophisticated advertising budgets with confidence. This company is presenting during the Growth Stage Track.  

Sargassum Eco Lumber,  Homestead: The company is a Florida-based sustainable materials company that converts invasive Sargassum seaweed and recycled plastics into high-performance, eco-friendly lumber. Their patent pending process creates a durable, recyclable product that replaces traditional wood and plastic composites. This company is presenting in the Seed Stage Track.  

Swiftsync,  Aventura: The company is the Developer of Cardiac, temporary dual-chamber pacing catheter. Stainless steel lead wires with 7 touch points for both atrial and ventricular stimulation is unique. Current devices only pace the ventricle and can cause perforations and lack of pacing control. They have one touch point versus 7 for SwiftSync. This company is presenting in the Early Stage Track.  

Synergist Technology, Boca Raton: The companyprovides a solution for implementing and managing cybersecurity, governance, and compliance for AI systems. Their mission is to empower private organizations and government agencies to deploy AI systems safely, responsibly, and confidently. They deliver our solution through our proprietary AFFIRM software platform in combination with consulting and professional services. This company is presenting during the Early Stage Track.  

Titl, Miami: The companyutilizes A.I to generate property titles for the U.S. and then stores them onto a blockchain ledger. By doing so, they are able to generate property titles at a fraction of the time and cost that a traditional title company would (Titl takes 2 minutes, competitors take 5-10 days). Once they have provided the title report to the user, they are also able to store them on a ledger, allowing them to monitor the property for liens, fraud, code violations, etc. This company is presenting in the Seed Stage Track.  

Tolka AI Therapeutics, Miami: The company is solving antibiotic resistance with small-batch patient-tailored therapeutics. Antibiotics are one-size-fits-all and bacteria typically develop resistance within two years of their introduction. This company is presenting in the Seed Stage Track.  

Vidergy, Coconut Creek: The company transforms traditional charging stations into revenue-generating assets by embedding cutting edge AdTech, delivering exceptional ROI for venues and unparalleled click-through rates (CTR) for advertisers. This company is presenting during the Seed Stage Track.
