CaseBlink, a Miami-based legaltech startup, provides attorneys with AI automation that streamlines case preparation. Its tech organizes and analyzes evidence, performs the research, and drafts customized legal briefs, allowing lawyers to build stronger cases in less time. The company recently launched Studio, a customizable AI drafting tool designed specifically for immigration attorneys.
Today, CaseBlink announced it has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding from Tower Research Ventures and, other VC firms, and immigration law firms including Fakhoury Global Immigration (FGI).
“Having personally navigated the immigration process multiple times, I understand how complex and time-consuming it can be. My shift from healthcare AI to legal technology was driven by a strong belief that automation in this space is going to make a massive impact, and I want to empower legal professionals to help people in situations like mine get their cases approved faster,” said Khalil Zlaoui, co-founder and CEO of CaseBlink.
CaseBlink speeds up the visa application process by providing: tools to attorneys for text analysis, sorting, and summarization, as well as automated research for case-specific information on relevant regulations, case law and more. CaseBlink will also draft exhibit lists, legal briefs, and customizable support letters into a ready-to-file document, the company said in its announcement.
Zlaoui, who previously worked at Google, CVS Health and Harvard, co-founded CaseBlink in 2023 alongside CTO John Langhauser and COO Tina Zedginidze.
“With over 50 law firms using CaseBlink and more than 1,000 cases prepared on our platform, we’ve reached significant milestones. But this is just the beginning – there’s still so much to build,” Zlaoui said. This includes building more workflows and launch more features “that will make legal automation even more powerful.”
“Since our first interaction with CaseBlink, we were blown away. Khalil and his team are onto something incredible, and we know we want to be part of it,” said FGI’s Managing Director Rami Fakhoury.
