Simpro Group, a major provider of AI-powered field service solutions for the commercial and residential trades, today announced it has selected One Downtown in the heart of Miami as its new North America headquarters location. Simpro’s lease agreement secures exclusive signage rights, too.
The Brisbane, Australia-based company signed a long-term lease for 4,763 square feet of space at the 31-story One Downtown building, formerly known as the SunTrust building, at 1 S.E. Third Ave. in Miami.
“Miami is at the center of the modern economy – a place where ambition, innovation, and global talent converge,” said Simpro Group’s Chairman and CEO Fred Voccola, in a statement. “It’s the perfect environment to gather the talent and resources needed to fulfill our mission.”
Simpro Group provides an operating platform that commercial contractors use to run profitable, efficient businesses. “This is the largest working class in North America, and we are giving them the tools to double their profits, serve their customers better, and operate with strength,” Voccola said.
Voccola, who joined Simpro Group from Kaseya Corp. in October, says he plans to fill the 26th-floor office and beyond with more than 500 employees over the coming years, spanning roles from entry-level sales to senior leadership. The first wave will move in in February, the company said.
Voccola has done this kind of scaleup before. As CEO of Miami-based IT management firm Kaseya, Voccola oversaw that global firm’s expansion from 500 to nearly 5,000 employees globally, but much of that growth was in Miami, where Kaseya had offices in several Brickell office buildings.
“Fred Voccola’s vision aligns perfectly with the spirit of Miami – fast, fearless, and entrepreneurial,” said the outgoing Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, in a statement.
Simpro Group also has offices in the Australia and the United Kingdom. Its platform is used by more than 24,000 businesses and 450,000 users worldwide for scheduling, dispatch, workforce management, quoting and invoicing.
