Yourway Learning raises $9M to expand its AI-powered K-12 education platform

Yourway Learning, a Miami Lakes-based company that offers an AI-powered platform for K-12 educational districts and schools, announced this week it has raised $9 million in Series A funding. This investment followed a $6 million round in January.

Founded in 2017 by Jason Geen and Jaime Pales, Yourway Learning offers a suite of pre-built AI tools that enable teachers to generate engaging, standards-aligned content without the need for extensive training. The Yourway Learning AI platform streamlines lesson planning, differentiation, grading, and communications, supports personalized learning and provides adaptive, real-time instructional support by enhancing the human connection between teacher and learner, the company said.

“Districts aren’t just checking the AI box — they want results that improve learning and engagement,” said Sasha Kovriga, managing partner at Greybull Stewardship and one of Yourway’s investors.

Over 53% of educators in recent state pilots reported that AI reduced their workload and supported better tutoring. More than half of U.S. states are advancing policies for responsible AI integration.

Yourway Learning plans  to use the funds to accelerate the recent rollout of Yourway Spark, a real-time AI student environment for K-12 classrooms that is now in limited district pilots. The company is inviting additional districts to apply for fall pilots.

“With Spark, we set out to build something fundamentally different from anything else on the market: AI that is aligned to teachers’ preferred classroom activities and that responds to students’ needs in real time,” said Hollin Wakefield, CPTO of Yourway Learning and a former teacher.
