Seaworthy’s latest cohort of startups are addressing critical challenges in ocean and climate impact\, including solutions for pollution\, greenhouse gas reduction and removal\, as well as coastal resilience and adaptation\, with direct applications for Miami and beyond. \nFor our 3rd year showcasing our community’s latest innovators and entrepreneurs\, whom we proudly call “Sea Change Makers”\, we have an exciting program planned\, to include: \nKeynote Speaker: A renowned ocean innovator (TBA in September)\nStartups and Entrepreneur Showcase: Live pitch presentations from each Startup who participated in Seaworthy’s 2023 Founder Mentorship Program\nSeaworthy’s CEO Daniel Kleinman: Update on Seaworthy’s mission\, past cohorts\, and 2024 Outlook\nAwards Program: TBA\nNetworking\, Learning\, and Community Building\nFor this year\, we’re offering an additional private reception for those looking to go above and beyond in supporting our work driving access and inclusion in ocean and climate impact innovation. After 3 months of catalyzing traction and collaboration during Seaworthy Collective’s inaugural venture studio\, our 10 startups (including 2 co-created startups) will present their pitches on how they will drive regenerative ocean and climate impact while generating return on investment. \nSeaworthy Collective’s inaugural cohort encompasses solutions for reversing climate change\, creating regenerative sources of seafood\,  building coastal resilience\, as well as detecting and removing pollution. Altogether\, these solutions  come together to drive the development of regenerative systems and local scale blue economies. We’re thrilled for these startups to trailblaze for many more to come – growing MiamiTech’s ClimateTech and BlueTech ecosystems while making South Florida a BlueTech hub.
