DESCRIPTION:The monthly Laser BASICS series is designed to teach you how to use the design software\, machine controls\, and various materials to create your own custom pieces with this digital fabrication technology. At the end of the session\, you get to take home your creation! \nAll Materials Included \nAges 15+* \nAny session will satisfy the safety and basic use requirement for Moonlighter members who wish to use the machine on their own. \nFAQs \nDo we need to bring anything? \nParticipants must bring a laptop and to save time – you can Pre-Download a trial version of Adobe illustrator to use in the workshop. All other materials are provided. \nWhat ages are able to attend? \nAges 15+ \nWho will be leading the Workshop? \nTom Pupo and Daisy Nodal are the Co-Founders of Moonlighter Makerspace. After earning their Masters in Architecture from Florida International University\, they taught at the SOA Design Studio for two years before opening Moonlighter. They now create one-of-a-kind STEAM educational experiences via workshops\, camps\, field trips and events\, where they introduce all ages to the latest technologies in Making. \nCan I update my registration information? \nYes\, simply email any changes to admin@moonlighterfablab.org \nDo students need pior experience? \nNo\, students will be introduced to all the basic concepts in the workshop. \nAre workshops refundable/transferable? \nWorkshop registrations are non-refundable.
