People from all over the world have come to call The Magic City home\, bringing their culture with them and collectively weaving a vibrant tapestry with their customs\, language\, food\, music and art. \nWe are so lucky to share in these treasures\, though sometimes the differences can be difficult to navigate. 10 Days of Connection understands this and acts as a searchlight\, guiding our diverse communities to mutual respect\, understanding and celebration! \nEvery year from May 1-10\, this community led movement fights divisiveness by bringing our differences to light and embracing them. And on the 4th day this year they will be bringing their unique connection experience to Venture Café Miami! Joining forces with other vital collaborators\, this carefully curated evening will lead us towards intentional connection through a variety of interactive and lively sessions\, featuring a clothing swap\, a conscious circle discussion\, a social empathy game\, and much more!

DESCRIPTION:The most biodiverse continent on Earth\, Africa boasts forest\, savannah\, grassland\, desert\, wetland\, and marine ecosystems. We’re going to go ahead and add “thriving innovation ecosystem” to the list! From 2015 to 2020\, the number of startups receiving venture capital funding in Africa grew about sevenfold. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. \nIn partnership with Startup Grind\, we’re bringing you Afrobits South Florida\, an evening to build bridges between global African innovation and the Miami tech ecosystem. Consisting of curated Afrobit sessions\, including a panel and unique networking opportunities\, this will be a full blown cultural experience complete with Afrobeats music\, Afrobites & drinks. The night will culminate with a Global Pitch Battle\, where 4 founders from all over the world will be able to pitch their ideas to our Miami audience while they compete for 1st place!
