​About our Guest Speaker:

​As a Venture Associate at Fuel Venture Capital, Tempel Ransdell plays a key role across investments, investor relations, and fundraising. On the investment side, he evaluates potential opportunities that align with Fuel Venture Capital’s thesis, engaging directly with company founders and leading due diligence efforts, including one-pagers, First Pass Analyses, and investment memos. In investor relations, Tempel manages the firm’s quarterly reporting process, preparing update decks for Flagship Fund I, Flagship Fund II, and the FinTech Growth Fund. He ensures that KPIs and company updates are accurately presented to Limited Partners (LPs) and provides customized investor reports based on individual LP allocations. On the fundraising front, Tempel supports the General Partners in capital-raising efforts at both the fund and company levels.

​Before joining Fuel, Tempel worked in the National Hockey League (NHL), serving in the Front Office of the Buffalo Sabres. There, he collaborated closely with the assistant General Manager on player performance analysis, salary cap compliance, and contract research, contributing to the team’s strategic decision-making process. Tempel received his BBA in Business Administration and Management from the University and Denver and his Masters degree in Sports Management from Texas A&M University.
