The North American Network Operator Group (NANOG) community is gathering in Miami. This is a rare meeting this far southeast! Discuss topics will include global connectivity, internet infrastructure, and the cutting-edge ideas and technologies that are shaping the international Internet of the future. NANOG 98 Keynotes include Paul Brodsky, of TeleGeography with “Global Infrastructure And Layer 3 Interconnection” and Jon Evans, (most recently with BT and Cariden) with “Why Do We Have Self-Driving Cars, But Not Autonomous Networks?”.

NANOG meetings are the place to talk about network operations, make career connections, and stay on top of the latest ideas in the industry. Starting in 1987, NANOG events happen three times per year in different cities. NANOG 99 will take place in Boston, MA on February 22-24, 2027, and our 100th conference is schedule to take place June 28-30, 2027 in San Francisco, CA.

We will explore practical approaches to distributing traffic across network paths, operating critical address assignment infrastructure, and strengthening routing security. These topics support global connectivity, efficient interconnection, dependable data center and backbone operations and worldwide infrastructure.
