The tech company is expanding in the Miami area and hiring for 100 open roles. Find out what the jobs are.

Kandji, a global Apple device management and security company, has had a small presence in the Miami area for the last couple of years. But over the past few months, that presence has grown from just a handful of employees to 70 – and the company has big plans for its new, expanded office.
The company is announcing today that Coral Gables will be the home of its new East Coast Headquarters, said Sylvia LePoidevin, Kandji’s Chief Marketing Officer, who was one of the first executives to make the move here a couple of years ago. In an interview with Refresh Miami, she said Kandji now has a beautiful new 30,000-square-foot office on the penthouse floor of The Plaza Coral Gables, which recently opened as well at 2811 Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Among the other office building tenants is Apple itself.
Founded in 2018 and launched in 2019, the California-based Kandji empowers companies to manage and secure Apple devices in the enterprise and at scale, she said.
“The challenge we’re trying to solve is how do we create the most elegant, seamless, incredible experience for employees so they can do their best work, but also protect the company on the risk side? And that’s where a lot of our security features come in,” said LePoidevin.
The company delivers customer support and AI-driven automations that help free IT and information security teams from repetitive tasks to focus their energy on more impactful projects. Through its offices in Miami, San Diego, San Francisco, London, Sydney and Tokyo, Kandji employs more than 300 people globally and serves 4,000 customers. It’s raised over $180 million in venture capital to scale.
Kandji currently has over 100 job openings, and its new East Coast Hub is hiring now for almost all departments – sales, product, marketing, engineering, finance, etc. Among the Miami area openings are for director of engineering, platform; principle software engineers; senior data engineers; staff software engineers; support engineers, a customer support manager, and a creative director.
“We’d always wanted to open an East Coast headquarters, that was always in our plan,” said LePoidevin. “We see Miami as this new frontier of tech growth and innovation and development, and that’s in our culture, that’s where we want to be.”
She said New York may have been the expected choice, but Kandji chose the Miami area partly because the county and city governments have made investments in its tech growth and it’s paying off. The area also has embraced technologies like AI, crypto and fintech, and she noted the exiciting influx of companies and capital that migrated to the area during the pandemic. Indeed, Miami rose to No. 16 among global tech hubs in the 2024 Startup Genome ranking, and the growth is continuing with the recent news that Amazon plans to open a 50,000-square-foot office in Wynwood. It also doesn’t hurt that Apple is investing in the area, taking a large office space in The Plaza Coral Gables.
“We’re very invested in the growth of tech in Miami because we want it to continue to grow and thrive as a major tech hub,” LePoidevin said, noting the other tech hub cities that have also been rising up in the past few years. “Our plan is to continue to build an incredible team here and tap into the local talent pool that the county and the cities are working to upskill as well as the existing skilled tech hires that we can make here,”
On a personal level, LePoidevin said Miami is the favorite place she has ever lived. “We’ve been welcomed with such support and open arms here beyond what I could have ever imagined.” Kandji has participated in tech community events including by Miami Tech Works, she said. “The groups we’ve connected with that want to collaborate with us and help us — it’s been truly incredible.”
