VaynerX opens a Miami HQ and is excited to cultivate creative talent in the city

By Anayansy Hernandez

Your startup could be the next partner of Gary Vaynerchuk’s media company. In a significant move that underscores Miami’s growing reputation as a burgeoning tech hub, VaynerX has opened a headquarters in the Magic City, bringing with it a vision to collaborate with Fortune 500 companies and tap into the local talent pool. The company, which is a conglomeration of various companies created by Vaynerchuk, has planted its flag in Wynwood and joins a dozen other VaynerMedia offices worldwide.

“Miami has such a thriving tech hub that it made sense for us to have boots on the ground,” said VaynerX’s Chief Marketing Officer Avery Akkineki [pictured above], based in Miami. The new office is bringing together 40 employees from all of Vaynerchuk’s subsidiaries under one roof to work and collaborate. This strategy has not been tested before, but if successful, it will be implemented in other markets such as Atlanta and Chicago. Vaynerchuk is no stranger to developing innovative marketing strategies: Just two weeks ago he launched his latest book “Day Trading Attention” at Nasdaq in New York City.

For the past two years, the team has been actively immersed in the local scene, listening and learning to ensure they are equipped to hire and serve their clients effectively. The company plans to use Miami as a hub to better understand the LatinX market and for their US Hispanic work. “Our growth strategy is focused on leveraging existing client relationships and expanding some of them into Miami,” said Akkineki.

The media company is looking forward to getting to know big local brands such as Chewy and the cruise lines and hopes to help existing brands in a new way. Some of their previous clients include Hubspot, Google, Meta and TikTok. The team is excited to scope Miami’s talent as they look to fulfill roles in creative media, strategy, and production. “I want us to be the best advertising agency in Miami. I want social at the center to be a strategy that really helps local Miami brands grow and thrive and build their businesses.”

VaynerX’s subsidiary The Sasha Group, which engages in growth-stage businesses, will be exploring startups with innovative products that could be potential partners as they grow their brand awareness in the city.

“We see Miami as a really interesting and exciting place to cultivate creative talent because it’s just such a creative and vibrant city,” Akkineki said. “The Miami Tech brand is strong and growing, as a diverse tapestry of companies – both global and local – join the Miami ecosystem.”

VaynerX’s Miami team [shown below] is excited to tap into the new market and play a crucial role in shaping the future of media for the city. We can expect to see their marketing campaign emerge later this year as they are planning events to continue to make their presence known. Their arrival brings new opportunities to blend media innovation with the city’s thriving tech community.
