Fintech company MyBambu 5Xed its space in West Palm Beach with new global HQ — and plans to add 190 jobs

MyBambu,  a financial technology company that provides a range of financial services including instant money transfers to Latin American countries, has moved into its 35,000-square-foot global headquarters in West Palm Beach. Along with the expansion will be the planned addition of 190 jobs.

Founded in 2016, MyBambu moved its headquarters from Memphis, Tennessee to West Palm Beach in 2021, at first establishing a small office abover a nightclub on West Palm Beach’s Clematis Street. The fintech company’s new offices have taken over the fourth floor of The Press Building at 2751 S. Dixie Highway.

The company now supports 160 employees, but eventually plans to host a total workforce of 350.

The new jobs are planned to include product development, customer care, operations, compliance, and marketing.

Tailored for the Hispanic market, the neobank offers FDIC-insured deposit accounts, linked Visa-branded payment cards and the ability to remit funds to nearly 20 LatAm countries, along with other financial services.  MyBambu enables instant international money transfers to 18 Latin American countries in under 35 minutes, the company said, adding that 92% of its active users in the United States identify as Hispanic.

“Since establishing its home base in Palm Beach County, MyBambu has swiftly grown its global footprint. Their success reflects the vibrant business environment and the county’s rising reputation as a hub for innovation,” adds Kelly Smallridge, President and CEO, Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, in a statement. The Business Development hosted a grand opening for the business community.

The Press Building, the former Palm Beach Post headquarters, now is a mixed-use campus with 140,000 SF of Class A Offices as well as retail in West Palm Beach. It is now also the home of MyBambu.
