After a star-studded debut in 2023, the Future Investment Initiative (FII) is set to return to Miami for the FII PRIORITY Miami summit in February 2024. This highly-anticipated event, themed ‘On the Edge of a New Frontier,’ is poised to again ignite the tech and startup ecosystem in Miami and South Florida.
Building on the resounding success of the inaugural event, FII PRIORITY Miami 2024 promises to be another pivotal platform bringing together global leaders, investors, CEOs, entrepreneurs, scientists, cultural figures, media, and FII Institute members. The summit is scheduled to take place on February 22-23, 2024, at the Faena Forum, Miami Beach.
The 2023 FII Priority Summit, which saw luminaries like Ben Horowitz and Marc Andreessen of a16z, and Adam Neumann, founder of WeWork and Flow, gathered on the same stage, was a landmark event for Miami’s tech scene. This year’s edition aims to take it a step further by offering an interactive program focused on disruptive technologies and fostering innovation for investment and societal betterment.
This year’s event is expected to host over 1,000 business and finance leaders and will explore and discuss the harmonious integration of cutting-edge advancements in AI, robotics, healthcare, finances, and sustainability into our global society. At the heart of the summit’s objectives is the idea of bridging the Americas to global markets and addressing key challenges for a thriving future.
According to the FII Institute’s press release, guided by insights from the FII PRIORITY Compass report, speakers and attendees will tackle urgent global issues, including the cost of living, social inclusion, and technology challenges.
Local tech enthusiasts and entrepreneurs who attended last year’s summit had high praise for the event. Laura Gaviria Halaby, a Miami-based startup operating advisor and investor, called it a “game-changer for our region,” highlighting the caliber of speakers and depth of conversations. Saif Ishoof, Founder of Lab22c, referred to the conference as “unprecedented” in terms of the leaders and visionaries who attended and the types of conversations held.
The return of FII to Miami, following its successful annual conference in Riyadh in which Miami was a recurring theme, further solidifies Miami’s position as a global tech and innovation hub, where ideas, investments, and aspirations converge to shape the world’s future.
