ServiceNow, provider of a leading AI platform for enterprise business transformation, today officially announced the company is expanding into West Palm Beach and will create more than 850 jobs in South Florida over the next five years.
The publicly traded tech giant will be moving into 10 CityPlace, a new development by Related Ross and part of Florida’s Gold Coast Innovation Corridor, ServiceNow and Related Ross announced. The expansion, which will include ServiceNow’s new regional innovation hub and AI Institute, is expected to deliver $1.8 billion in economic impact.
“The AI innovation economy has a new epicenter in the Gold Coast of West Palm Beach, Florida,” said Bill McDermott, chairman and CEO of ServiceNow.
“West Palm Beach is the latest move in ServiceNow’s tradition of embracing bold economic developments across the country. This will be a compelling magnet for talent, a strong engine for growth, and a dynamic hub for America’s AI leadership,” added McDermott, in a statement.
ServiceNow, headquartered in Santa Clara, Calif., pulled in just under $11 billion in revenue in 2024 and employs over 27,000 people around the world. The company, No. 386 on the 2025 Fortune 500, has committed to take up to 200,000 square feet as the anchor tenant in 10 CityPlace in West Palm’s downtown. The space will serve as a cornerstone for ServiceNow’s growth in the Southeast, housing hundreds of employees across multiple business functions, ServiceNow said.
ServiceNow’s West Palm Beach facilities will serve as a hub for enterprise AI development, workforce education and customer collaboration, and it is expected to open in 2028, with hiring, research partnerships, and pilot programming beginning in the coming months, according to the company.
Related Ross Chairman and CEO Stephen Ross signaled there would be big announcements like this one to come when he spoke at eMerge Americas on stage with eMerge CEO Melissa Medina in March. There they shared a vision: To solidify Southeast Florida’s position as the nation’s go-to entry point for global capital, innovation and entrepreneurship by establishing a business corridor from Miami to West Palm Beach that includes Class A office space and other infrastructure, universities, accelerators and corporate support. In August, Ross and Medina announced a Gold Coast Tech Accelerator would launch this fall.
“As a leader in enterprise AI, ServiceNow will catalyze innovation and economic opportunity in West Palm Beach, positioning the city as a premier destination for forward‑thinking technology companies,” said Ross, in today’s announcement.
“As a long-time believer in the potential of South Florida, we’re helping shape a thriving tech economy along the Gold Coast that connects people, place, and possibility,” Ross added.
Here are more details on ServiceNow’s news:
- The AI Institute will be part of ServiceNow’s Executive Briefing Center, and will feature a startup accelerator space to support early-stage technology companies through mentorship, pilot opportunities, and access to the region’s growing tech ecosystem.
- The ServiceNow site will also include ServiceNow University programming, providing AI-focused education, skilling, and certification opportunities for employees, partners and the local community.
- With the help of university collaborations and RiseUp with ServiceNow, a global initiative that creates career pathways for untapped talent, the West Palm Beach expansion will support emerging tech talent, including veterans and career-transitioners, ServiceNow said.
The announcement was not a well-kept secret. According to multiple media reports, ServiceNow was recently approved for a $2 million incentive package from West Palm Beach, alongside $15 million the company is expected to receive from the State of Florida. The company said then that it will make a $50 million capital investment in the project and create jobs that pay an average annual wage of $170,000. Real estate media sites also reported on ServiceNow’s expansion plans.
“ServiceNow’s decision to invest in West Palm Beach is a major milestone for our city,” said West Palm Beach Mayor Keith A. James, in a statement. “This is about more than just office space. It’s about creating high-quality jobs, equipping our residents with the skills to succeed, and positioning our city at the forefront of the AI economy.”
